The Doctor of Christian Counseling is designed to give the student an advanced background in Christian Counseling and primarily equip persons for vocations of ministry and research in the Christian Counseling arena and enhancements of ministerial counseling practices.

The program trains, pastors, counselors to think and practice wisely in caring for people amid the complexities of human life.

The modular formats allows for students already established in their respective ministries or vocations to pursue the highest level residential research degree. This degree not only provides advanced scholarship in theological historical and contemporary aspects of Christian counseling but also foster case wisdom, skills in biblical interpretation and appreciation for the church role in the care of people.

The Doctor’s in Christian Counseling is a research degree that culminates in an original thesis of 60,000-70,000 words.

Upon the successful completion of the Doctor‘s Degree in Christian Business Administration the students should be able to:

  • demonstrate the ability to provide counseling services to the church and community
  • contribute to the development of knowledge as it relates to integrating faith and reasoning
  • apply insights of Christian theology along with the knowledge and techniques of the behavioral science
